about
First single in the Open Arms Project - a series of monthly singles & videos I recorded around the world as I toured. This first single, Retirantes, was recorded in Rio de Janeiro right after carnival in a super spontaneos and fun recording session with Davi Mello and renowned vocalist/flutist Danilo Caymmi. We pay homage to the composer of this song, Danilo's father the legendary Dorival Caymmi. In the coming months Open Arms Project will have videos & singles I recorded in Paris, Harare Zimbabwe, Prague, São Paulo and more
Meu amor, eu vou-me embora, nessa terra vou morrer
